Status report

May 22nd, 2008

To answer D?M’s question about my last post – to wit, how the non-aggressive driving is going – I have to say that it’s very fortunate that I made the decision to cool me little jets last week, as I spent eleven hours Tuesday and six hours yesterday driving on interstates between Boston and Little Rock. (The rest of the time I wasn’t driving, just passengering.) I only did two very minor aggressive things in those seventeen hours, so I’m quite proud of myself.

It’s also a good thing that I made this decision/declaration last week, as Arkansas drivers are rather different from Boston drivers, and I’ve become unaccustomed to the more relaxed pace of the South… πŸ™‚

The difference between LR and bigger cities is funny. One time, Dad was following nat to a restaurant and got lost because someone wouldn’t let him merge, and he was too safe|timid to force the issue. I met them after work and said “where’s dad?” … “you lost my family?!!”

    ha. good times

That’s a LOT of driving! Hope you plan to make the visit long to make up for all that time on the interstate! πŸ™‚ Have a nice Memorial Day my dear!

Hey, how long will you be in Little Rock?! I have to take Dan to the airport on Tuesday, and I’ll be in Mountain Home all summer. Any chance we’ll see you?
