Being rich is having money; being wealthy is having time.
– Stephen Swid, executive (b. 1941)
Would that I had more of this kind of wealth. Lots more. Or rather, would that I were better at time management and realistic goal-setting so that I would more efficiently use the wealth I have.
So I’ve started my allergy shot regimen, and the only bad thing is that the injection sites (two on each arm) are reeeeeeeeeally itchy. (The doctor injects a very small amount of each allergen so my body can build up a tolerance to it.)
Aaaaand that’s all for today. I’ve eaten too much spinach ricotta tortellini to be eloquent, but not too much to be completely random. (Obviously.)
Randomness (if that’s not a word it should be) is a great thing. I should say so – my blog entries are usually completely random every time.
Yes, I sympathize completely with the whole “wealth is having time” thing; if that were 100% true, I would be down right impoverished. However, I take the view of loving the noise in my life, rather than trying to push it out. I’ve been in situations where I had time, and found that I always longed for something to do with it when I had it — so, love being important enough that you have something to do with the time you’ve been given!
There you go: My soap-box and words of wisdom for the week. 🙂
ask your doctor if you can use a little Rhuli-gel or something on your itchies…
everyone has the same 24 hours in a day, but some of us just have more to put in them!
