Gallupping, sort of

I’m taking a poll: Which of the following do you like as a name for an editing business? I’ll be editing essays for business/law/medical/graduate school and college applications; target schools are Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Duke, Penn, etc.:

  1. I think the two most practical and perhaps most appropriate are and My fav was I heart that one. it has a ring to it though so it might be a good “brand” It also does a great job explaining the main purpose of the business.

  2. I like “”. But that implies you will be timely. If you can, then great. If speed isn’t your forte, then I’d skip it.

As far as a business name that says what it is, I like “”. But that only allows for admissions, not resumes etc.

So then I like “” but would think of shortening it to “” (like a coffee fix rather than “fixes” as a verb.

And I must add that I am paranoid to write this because I am SURE I have some errors that you will see.

  3. Thanks for the replies! The results from this and the e-mail poll have been really mixed – dunno if I’m any closer to deciding. Heidi, I really wanted “” or “,” but they’re both already taken – the only thing I could do was pluralize. Sigh. πŸ™

Keep the votes coming, and keep watching this space – I hope to decide and visit the Town of Belmont business office before Friday afternoon. Exciting, n’est-pas?

  4. So, I liked best too, but not sure it’s so great pluralized. Therefore, my vote is for I think it’s kind of catchy (though not sure it’s the most practical one. . .)
    Good luck πŸ™‚
